This guide walks you through exactly what to do next so you can stay informed, prepared, and confident going into the season.

✅ Step 1: Get Connected (Do This First)

Download and set up all required communication tools:

• BoosterHub → booster communication, calendar, sign-ups, payments
• Band App → director communication (call times, real-time updates)
• CutTime → student accounts and balances
• MySchoolBucks → payments

👉 These are all required for a successful season.

📅 Step 2: Know Where to Find Information

You’ll receive information from multiple places:

• BoosterHub → announcements, calendar, volunteer sign-ups
• Band App → director communications; day-of updates and timing changes
• CutTime → financials and student accounts
• Website + Social Media → general updates and reminders

👉 Check regularly — band moves fast and schedules can change quickly.

💵 Step 3: Understand Fees & Payments

Required costs for Fall 2026:

• Program Fee: $500
• Meal Fee: $50
• $100 commitment fee due May 15
• Remaining payments due monthly (July–November)

💡 Fees cover:

• Uniforms, travel, staff, show design, props, meals, competitions

👕 Step 4: Make Sure Your Student Has What They Need

Required items include:

• Summer uniform (shirt provided; student supplies black shorts, tennis shoes, black belt)
• Show shirt (provided)
• Compression gear (recommended 2 pairs of white or skin-tone)
• Long socks (multiple pairs recommended, white for competitions)

👉 Full checklist will be provided — but don’t wait on the basics.

⏰ Step 5: Understand Weekly Expectations

• Practice: 4–7 PM (Mon, Tues, Thurs)
• Students should be early and ready to go
• Absences must be reported using the absence form

🚌 Step 6: Know What Competition Days Look Like

• Full-day events (travel + performance + awards)
• Late return times are normal
• Detailed schedules are shared before each event

👉 Parents are encouraged to attend and support.

🤝 Step 7: Get Involved (This Matters A LOT)

Our program runs on parent support. 

Ways to help:

• Volunteer at events and competitions
• Donate items (water, snacks, ice, etc.)
• Help with concessions, props, meals, or transportation
• Fill out the Committee Interest Form here!

🏆 Step 8: Understand Key Events

Tournament of Champions (TOC)

• Our biggest event and fundraiser
• Requires significant parent support
• Families are asked to volunteer at least 4 hours
• Saturday, September 26, 2026

🧠 Step 9: Learn Key Terms (Quick Basics)

• Call Time → when students must arrive (early and ready)
• Load Time → when parents help load equipment
• Camp Day → all-day rehearsal with guest clinicians
• TOC → major home competition and fundraiser

📋 Step 10: Complete Required Forms

Before participating, students must complete:

• District Medical Form
• EHS Band Medical Form
• Parent Contact Form
• BoosterHub Registration
